Welcome to UKIE Candles, where we offer designer candles made from organic soy wax and cotton wicks.  Our brand name, UKIE, refers to Ukrainians living in America. We take pride in being a meaningful brand that aims to make a positive impact.

UKIE Candles is a new business that is run by a new family, Andy and Daryna Magnuson. Daryna was born in Ukraine where many of her friends and family still are. Daryna was deeply affected by the war in her home country. In the Fall of 2022, when Ukrainian civil infrastructure was shelled by russians, Daryna noticed Ukrainians relying heavily on candlelight since they didn’t have power. Daryna wanted to find a way to help Ukraine and came up with the idea of UKIE Candles. Light always beats the darkness.

We are always inspired by Ukrainians’ resilient spirit and hope in literal times of darkness. We believe that every small effort counts, and we want to make a difference in the lives of those who need it most. UKIE Candles is our attempt to capture that same hopeful spirit, make the world a brighter place, and give back to the Ukrainian people.

We are proud to say that 25% of our profits go directly to Ukrainian families in need, as featured on our website. We believe that by supporting our brand, you are not only purchasing a beautiful and meaningful product, but also making a positive impact on the family that lost everything during russian missile attack.
